Oppo India Partners With Amber Enterprises to Manufacture Smartphones for Oppo, OnePlus and Realme in India

Beyond its traditional consumer durables and electronics components business, Amber Enterprises India has entered the smartphone manufacturing segment through a strategic collaboration with Oppo Mobiles India. The partnership marks Amber Group's entry into large-scale mobile phone production, strengthening its position in India's rapidly growing electronics manufacturing ecosystem.

Amber Group to Manufacture Smartphones for Oppo, OnePlus and Realme in India

Under the manufacturing collaboration agreement, Amber Group will produce smartphones for Oppo India's brand portfolio, which includes Oppo, OnePlus and Realme. The company is expected to leverage its existing manufacturing expertise, operational scale, domestic supplier network and capabilities in enhancing local value addition.

Oppo India currently operates as a licensed manufacturer of smartphones for the three brands in the Indian market. Through this collaboration, Amber Enterprises will play a key role in supporting the production requirements of these leading smartphone brands as demand for locally manufactured devices continues to rise.

The development comes at a time when global smartphone companies are increasingly expanding and diversifying their manufacturing partnerships in India. The government's continued focus on boosting domestic electronics production, strengthening the supply chain and increasing local value addition has encouraged companies to scale up manufacturing operations within the country.

Amber's entry into smartphone manufacturing also reflects a broader trend of Indian electronics manufacturers moving beyond traditional categories such as air conditioners and home appliances into high-growth technology segments.
