Orry Summoned In Mumbai: The Mumbai Police summoned social media influencer, Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, for questioning in a significant Rs 252 crore drug case, reported ANI on Wednesday. The influencer is under investigation for a case linked to a drug racket. He is likely to be reach the Anti-Narcotics Cell's Ghatkopar unit at 10:00 am on Thursday

Earlier, Orry was detained by the Jammu and Kashmir Police for allegedly consuming alcohol in a hotel with seven others. The influencer was detained under suspicion of consuming alcohol in a hotel near the Vaishno Devi shrine. Due to its religious importance, such activities are strictly prohibited in the region.

As per the news agency report, the investigation began in March 2024 when authorities uncovered a large-scale mephedrone manufacturing operation on a farm in Sangli district.

Drug Racked Busted

The investigation is proceeding based on the inputs of Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh. He was recently deported from Dubai and was apprehended following the raid where the police seized around 126.4 kg of mephedrone, which is commonly known as MD.

During the police interrogation, Shaikh admitted that he used to host rave parties for celebrities both domestically and internationally.

Orry Summoned In Drugs Case

Orry has been summoned by the police in the case. As per ANI report, the influencer will be interrogated for his potential connections to the case and any insights into the ongoing investigation.

The Mumbai Police investigation revealed that Mohammad Salim Shaikh allegedly organised multiple rave parties in Dubai and Mumbai. These events reportedly attracted several well-known celebrities, social media influencers, and some politicians.

In their remand application submitted to a Mumbai court, police identified notable figures such as film producers Abbas-Mustan, rapper Loka, Orry, and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique as attendees at these parties.
