Passenger Trains Other Than Shramik Special Train Cancelled Till May 17
Owing to the lockdown 3.0 that will come into effect from May 4 for another 2 weeks time, Indian Railways on Friday announced cancellation of all passenger trains till May 17.
Nonetheless, special trains to provide transport means to people stranded at various places. Also, Shramik Special trains will also serve as and when required as per the ministry of home affairs directive.

"In continuation of the measures taken in the wake of covid-19, it has been decided that the cancellation of all passenger train services on Indian railways, that is mail/express, including premium trains, passenger trains, suburban trains and trains of metro railway Kolkata shall be extended till May 17, 2020," official statement said.
Also, during the time, goods trains will continue to run ensuring supply of essentials all through the country amid lockdown.
This time with relaxation in few of the aspects in orange and green zones, lockdown has yet again been extended.
