Patanjali Foods Share Price Today As Management Reiterates FY27 Growth Outlook
Patanjali Foods shares were trading at Rs 401.45 on the NSE around 2:00 pm on September 22, up Rs 5.25, or 1.33%, from the previous close. The stock opened at Rs 394 and climbed to an intraday high of Rs 412.80, while its day's low stood at Rs 394.

The buying interest came even as the stock remains below its levels at the beginning of the year. Management's confidence around FY27, along with the company's strong June-quarter numbers, has brought attention back to the stock.
Patanjali Foods also witnessed active trading during the session. As of around 2:00 pm, nearly 79.29 lakh shares had been traded on the NSE. That compares with an average daily volume of around 52.15 lakh shares. In other words, the stock had already recorded roughly 1.52 times its average full-day volume while the trading session was still in progress.
CEO Sanjeev Asthana has maintained that the company is on track with its FY27 plans. The management expects its businesses across FMCG, foods and edible oils to contribute to growth during the year.
The company is also looking at free cash flow of Rs 700-800 crore in FY27. For investors, the cash-flow target provides another measure of how management expects the business to perform beyond reported revenue and profit.
Demand trends, however, are not uniform across markets. Asthana said urban consumption continues to be strong and the company expects the festive period to remain favourable. Rural demand is comparatively weaker, with the monsoon emerging as a concern.
Sunflower Oil Supply Disruption Raises Cost Concerns for Patanjali Foods
One of the key issues for Patanjali Foods is the availability of edible oils. Asthana said more than 90% of India's sunflower oil imports were currently stuck. If the disruption continues, companies operating in the category could face pressure on availability and sourcing costs.
For Patanjali Foods, the eventual effect will depend on several factors, including its existing inventory, alternative sourcing options and the extent to which higher input costs can be reflected in selling prices. Edible oils form a sizeable part of the company's business, which means movements in procurement costs can have a direct bearing on sales and profitability.
Management Addresses Food Business, Promoter Stake Concerns
The management has also sought to address some of the concerns being watched by investors. Asthana said there were no regulatory issues affecting the foods business. He further said that loans had not been taken against the promoters' 38% holding in the company. These comments come as the stock attempts to recover after remaining under pressure for much of 2026.
Patanjali Foods Q1 FY27 Profit Jumps 86%
Patanjali Foods entered the current growth discussion after reporting a strong first quarter. Consolidated net profit rose 86% year-on-year to Rs 335.7 crore in Q1 FY27. Revenue from operations increased 29% to Rs 11,337.5 crore. The company also reported a 69% increase in EBITDA to Rs 543.3 crore. Its EBITDA margin stood at 4.8%, compared with 3.7% in the corresponding quarter last year.
The June quarter was the fourth consecutive quarter in which Patanjali Foods recorded its highest-ever revenue.
