Pensioners Can Submit Jeevan Praman/Life Certificate By This Extended Date

After due discussion with the office of Controller General of Accounts it has been decided that central government pensioners can submit life certificate by this extended date.

Now this year all central government pensioners will submit life certificate from November 1 to February 28, 2021. Earlier the extension was allowed until December 31,2020. During this extended period, the pension will be continued to be paid by the Pension Disbursing Authorities (PDAs) uninterrupted.

The Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare, the Nodal Department that has to formulate policy of pension and retirement benefits on its twitter handle has informed about the extension. This has been done after there has been request from various associations as the elderly are prone to this disease highly.
