Oil marketing companies have once again hiked fuel prices taking them to record high. For petrol, the prices have been raised by maximum 41 paise, while diesel prices have been raised by 24 paise.

Further, petrol prices have breached Rs. 100 mark per litre in states such as MP, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Odisha, J&K and Ladakh. In metropolitan cities Hyderabad, Bengaluru it is already up over Rs. 100 per litre.
Notably, since 2017 prices of fuel are deregulated and have been following dynamic pricing model wherein prices are changed every day at 6 am basis the international crude rates in the previous fortnight.
