Petrol, Diesel Rate In Your City Today, 30 June 2022: Check Latest Fuel Prices
Prices of petrol and diesel remain unchanged on Thursday all across the metropolitan cities for over a month now. Earlier on May 21, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman declared an excise duty cut on petrol and diesel by Rs 8 and Rs 6 per litre, respectively. The decision led to a decline in the prices of petrol by 9.5 per litre and diesel by 7 per litre.
The price of one litre of petrol in Delhi costs Rs 96.72 while diesel costs Rs 89.62/litre. The cost of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 111.35 per litre and diesel is priced at Rs 97.28 per litre.
Meanwhile, you have to pay Rs 102.63 for one litre of petrol in Chennai and for diesel it is Rs 94.24 per litre. In Kolkata, price of one litre petrol is Rs 106.03 and diesel is priced at Rs 92.76 per litre. In India domestic fuel prices are linked to global rates.
It is important to note that if the price of crude oil goes higher, the Oil Market Companies come under pressure. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) update fuel prices every day at 6 am keeping in line with benchmark global prices and foreign exchange rates.
