Petrol, Diesel Rate Today: Check Latest Price As India's Neighbouring Country Cuts Fuel Prices

The prices of petrol and diesel have been updated today and there is no change in the prices for almost two months as the three leading Oil Marketing companies decide to keep the prices unchanged.

Earlier last month on May 21, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman declared a cut in excise duty on petrol and diesel. Nirmala Sitharaman announced an excuse duty cut on petrol by Rs 8 per litre and Rs 6 per litre on diesel, respectively.

Petrol prices in Delhi remains at Rs 96.72 per litre while the prices of diesel is recorded at Rs 89.62 per litre. In Mumbai after decline in Fuel prices on July 14, now you will have to pay Rs 106.31 for 1 litre of petrol while diesel will cost Rs 94.27 per litre.

The public sector oil marketing companies that may include Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) update fuel prices everyday at 6 am keeping in line with benchmark global prices and foreign exchange rates. If any changes in the prices of petrol and diesel occur, it is implemented at 6 AM everyday.

Fuel price gets cheaper in Pakisatan
The resident of India's neighbouring country Pakistan have got some relief as price of Diesel has been reduced by Rs 40.54 per litre while on petrol the prices have been reduced by Rs 18.50 per litre. The newly elected Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has announced the decision after the oil prices in international markets witnessed a dip.

Lucknow: Petrol: Rs 96.57/litre, Diesel: Rs 89.76/litre

Noida: Petrol: Rs 96.57/litre, Diesel: Rs 89.96/litre

Gurugram: Petrol: Rs 97.18/litre, Diesel: Rs 90.05/litre

Chandigarh: Petrol: Rs 96.20/litre, Diesel: Rs 84.26/litre
