Crude prices in the international market, its WTI benchmark traded higher by 0.1% at $68.42. Notably after hurricane Ida, recovery in supply of crude has slowed down, which has led to gains in the commodity. On the previous day, the crude prices shed over 1 percent, the day following the labour day.
