Petrol, Diesel Rates Cut On Aug 24; Crude Prices Gain

Petrol and diesel rates after a day of pause, see a rate cut and quote at Rs. 101.49 per litre in Delhi i.e. cheaper by 15 paise, while for diesel the rate has also been cut by 15 paise to Rs. 88.92. Likewise, fuel rates have been slashed in other cities as well.

Internationally, crude oil WTI futures for October delivery traded higher by 0.29% at $65.84 per barrel. On gains in the crude oil price, there has been seen an uptick in the 10-year benchmark bond yield. Last the benchmark yield traded with gains of 0.4% at $1.262.
