ICICI Securities on PI Industries
ICICI Securities described PI Industries' Q2 FY27 performance as disappointing, due to weak agrochemical exports amid subdued global demand.
According to the brokerage, genericisation, pricing pressure and cost escalation were not being actively passed through, further affecting profitability.
Meanwhile, PI Industries' domestic agricultural biologicals business recorded growth of more than 45%. The company has also onboarded large pharmaceutical customers and is working on two strategic products aimed at securing long-term contracts.
