PM Kisan 15th Installment Release Date Revealed: Know How To Complete The EKYC Process?

The 15th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is expected to be released by the last week of November, according to media reports. Before this, the 14th installment of PM Kisan Yojana was released in July of this year. The beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are likely to get their 15th installment after Diwali. This has come as a big update for more than 8 crore farmers waiting to receive the 15th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.

PM Kisan is a Central Sector scheme with 100% funding from the Government of India. Under the scheme an income support of 6,000/- per year in three equal installments will be provided to all land-holding farmer families.

The PM Kisan website says, "eKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN Registered Farmers. OTP-based eKYC is available on the PMKISAN Portal or nearest CSC centres may be contacted for biometric-based eKYC."

To receive the 15th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, it is mandatory for the beneficiaries to get their eKYC updated.If this does not happen, eligible farmers will be deprived of the benefits of the scheme.

The financial benefits under the scheme are distributed in three installments every year, during the months of April-July, August-November, and December-March. This amount is directly credited to the beneficiaries' registered bank accounts.

• Visit the official website - pmkisan.nic.in
• Click on 'eKYC' under the 'Farmers Corner' section
• After getting the 'OTP Based eKYC' section, enter your Aadhaar number
• Click on 'Search'
• Enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and click on 'Get OTP'
• Enter the OTP
• After this, eKYC will be completed following successful verification of the details you have submitted.

In June this year, Union Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar launched the PM-Kisan Mobile App with a Face Authentication Feature under the central government's ambitious and popular scheme for income support to farmers "Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi".Using the Face Authentication Feature from this app farmers can complete e-KYC remotely, sitting at home easily by scanning their face without OTP or fingerprint.

PM Kisan is one of the world's largest DBT schemes in which farmers get Rs 6,000 directly transferred through Aadhaar-linked bank accounts in three installments in a year. As of June 14, 2023, an amount worth over 2.42 lakh crore was transferred to the accounts of more than 11 crore farmers, of whom more than 3 crore were women.
