Amid reports of delay in PM Kisan Instalment, beneficiaries are hoping to receive the 20th instalment in the first half of July. According to a LiveHindustan's report, eligible farmers are likely to receive the PM Kisan 20th Instalment on 18th July. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Bihar, is likely to disburse the PM Kisan instalment on 18 July, reported Live Hindustan. PM Kisan Instalment: What is the Scheme All About?
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan) was launched by the central government to address the financial requirements of landholding farmers to meet their agricultural inputs and household needs. PM Modi disbursed the nineteenth instalment of the scheme on 24 February, 2025.
What is the Scheme Benefit?
Under this scheme, eligible farmers under the PM Kisan Yojana will get a yearly assistance of Rs 6,000. PM Kisan assistance will be provided to farmers every quarter. Eligible farmers under the scheme will get an assistance of Rs 2,000 in three instalments in a year.
PM Kisan Instalment: How To Check Status?
-Navigate to the PM Kisan official portal at https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
-Look for the 'Beneficiary list' option, which you can find in the right-hand corner of the webpage. This action is the first step in verifying your status.
-After accessing the 'Beneficiary list' tab, you will be prompted to provide specific details to proceed. This involves selecting your state, district, sub-district, block, and village from the available drop-down menus.
-Upon filling in the necessary details, the final step involves clicking on the 'Get report' tab.PM Kisan Samman Nidhi was announced by PM Narendra Modi in February 2019. The scheme was implemented in 2019 after coming into effect on December 1, 2018. The PM Modi-led government launched the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to provide financial assistance to landholding farmers across the country.
The central government-sponsored scheme provides quarterly assistance to farmers of Rs 2,000. The financial assistance help them to take care of their expenses related to agriculture, allied activities, and domestic needs.
PM Kisan Scheme eKYC
Farmers must complete their e Know Your Customer (eKYC) before PM Kisan Nidhi instalment date to get the subsidy amount of Rs 2,000. Indian farmers can complete their eKYC online by visiting pmkisan.gov.in and selecting the e-KYC option. PM Kisan beneficiaries are required to Aadhaar number, their registered mobile number to complete e-KYC.
Farmers who are yet to link their Aadhaar-PAN document must complete the process before PM Kisan Nidhi instalment to get their monthly instalment on time. Aadhaar-Pan linking with banks will help farmers to avoid delays in payment.

Who Is Not Eligible For PM Kisan Samman Nidhi?
Other than small-land holding farmers, owners of institutional landholders and farmers who are former and present holders of constitutional posts, or were any retired government employee, were elected as former and present Ministers/ State Ministers and former/present Members of LokSabha/ RajyaSabha/ State Legislative Assemblies/ State Legislative Councils,former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats, are not eligible for the scheme.
