The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi's eighth instalment will be credited to beneficiaries' bank accounts in April. The government has yet to set a deadline for the funds to be released. According to sources, the next instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi may be credited into farmers' bank accounts between April 20 and 25. The beneficiaries get Rs 6000 per year in three four-monthly instalments of Rs 2000 each. Small and marginal farmer families with a joint land holding or possession of up to 2 hectares are eligible for the benefit of this scheme.
