PM Modi to Inaugurate Rising Rajasthan Global Summit in Jaipur on December 9 to Boost Investment

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to open the Rising Rajasthan Global Summit in Jaipur on 9 December. The event, spanning three days, will take place at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center in Sitapura. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma mentioned that preparations are underway with a focused approach to ensure everything is ready for the summit.

PM Modi to Open Rising Rajasthan Summit

Sharma, along with Industry Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and officials, inspected the arrangements by travelling from Jaipur Airport to the venue. He provided guidance to the team during this review. Speaking to reporters, Sharma confirmed that Prime Minister Modi will attend the inaugural session of the conference.

Investment Opportunities and Economic Growth

The chief minister highlighted that under Modi's leadership, Rajasthan is hosting this investment summit in its first year. He emphasised the vast investment opportunities in Rajasthan, stating that the event will significantly boost the state's industrial growth. "There are immense possibilities of investment in Rajasthan and this event will prove to be a milestone in accelerating the industrial direction of the state," he said.

The summit aims to advance Rajasthan's position in sectors like mining, stone, education, medicine, and automobiles. Sharma noted that the Rising Rajasthan Summit, scheduled from 9-11 December, will bring a new perspective to the state's industrial landscape. The government is committed to achieving economic progress for Rajasthan.

Renewable Energy Initiatives

Sharma announced a daily resolution for ten days leading up to the summit to ensure its success. The first resolution focuses on powering the opening day entirely with solar energy. "Our priority is to promote renewable energy for uninterrupted power supply in the state," he stated. He noted that Rajasthan's favourable investment policies have made it a top choice for investors in renewable energy.

Rajasthan currently leads India in renewable energy production. Sharma expressed his government's goal of making the state self-reliant in energy production by 2027. This commitment aligns with their broader strategy to enhance sustainable energy solutions across Rajasthan.

The summit represents a significant step towards fostering economic development and attracting investments across various sectors in Rajasthan. With strategic initiatives and leadership, the state aims to achieve substantial growth and development through this global platform.
