Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a scathing attack on NCP founder Sharad Pawar, saying some people from Maharashtra only did politics in the name of farmers. Modi said this while addressing an event in Shirdi, Maharashtra, after inaugurating several development projects and rolling out a financial assistance scheme for the state's farmers.
