PNB Housing Finance Q4 Result Review, Recommendation
PNB Housing Finance's earnings were driven by provisions and write-backs, as per the Motilal Oswal report. NIM expanded 6 basis points on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, and the retail loans 16% on an annual basis. PNB Housing Finance's yields moderate; reported NIM exhibited sequential expansion. The housing finance company's asset quality improved, and recoveries boosted credit costs.
"PNBHF currently trades at 1.2x FY27E P/BV. The company delivered a stable quarterly performance, underpinned by improving asset quality and supportive credit cost trends, though profitability remains partially constrained by elevated operating expenses and softer fee income. The marginal uptick in NIM, aided by easing cost of funds, is encouraging, but sustainability will hinge on yield dynamics and growth momentum," noted Motilal Oswal in its report. The brokerage maintained a 'Buy' recommendation for the stock and will share its target price after the conference call.
PNB Housing Finance Dividend
PNB Housing Finance's board, on Monday, approved a final dividend of Rs 8 per share with a face value of Rs 10. PNB Housing Finance board "recommended a final dividend of INR 8/- per equity share of face value of INR 10/- each for the financial year ended March 31, 2026," as per the BSE filing.
