Prime Minister Distributes E-Property Cards Under Svamitva Scheme

Prime Minister under the Svamitva scheme (Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas)today on National Panchayti Raaj Day at 12 noon via video conferencing unveiled the distribution of e-property cards. On the occasion as many as 4.09 lakh property owners will be janded over the e-property cards on National Panchayati Raj Day that also marks the roll out of the Svamitva scheme.

The Panchayti Raj Day holds importance as it is an occasion to repeat the resolutions of Navnirman of rural India. This day is also a day to see, understand and appreciate the contribution of our Gram Panchayats and their extraordinary works, the PM said.

The Scheme has been implemented to help our friends in rural areas. There will be extended insurance cover to Covid 19 warriors under PMGK scheme.

So, through the e-card as many as 4.09 lakh land owners will have a document in writing supporting their ownership.
