PSU Dividend Dhamaka! BHEL Fixes Record Date For 70% Dividend | How To Get Eligible?
Dividend Dhamaka: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) shares are likely to see heightened investor attention in the coming days as the PSU has fixed dividend record date. The company's board of directors had earlier approved 70% dividend for the financial year 2025-26.
BHEL share price closed 0.05% lower at Rs 413.7 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 60,095.87 crore on Wednesday, July 1. The stock had touched an intraday high mark of Rs 422.15 per share and an intraday low mark of Rs 411.95 per share.

The company's board of directors, earlier had approved an interim dividend of 70% dividend for FY26. "The Board has recommended Final Dividend of Rs. I .40 per share of Rs. 2/-each (i .e. @ 70% on the paid up share capital of the Company) for FY 2025-26," said the company in its press release.
BHEL Dividend Record Date
The company has fixed Friday, July 17, as the record date to determine the eligibility of the payout. The board, on Wednesday, approved the "fixation of Friday, 17th July, 2026 as the "Record Date" for the purpose of determining the eligibility of the members to receive final dividend of Rs. 1.40 per share (i.e. @ 70% on the paid up equity share capital) for the year 2025-26."
BHEL Share Price Trend
The company scrip opened lower on Wednesday after failing to hold on to gains in the first half of the trading session. BHEL stock touched its 52-week high mark of Rs 424.85 per share on BSE on May 29, 2026. The stock dipped to its 52-week low mark of Rs 205.20 per share on August 29, 2025. The stock has a return on equity (ROE) of 6.41% and it has delivered close to 42% return in 2026 so far. BHEL's share price value has surged 56% in one year and 371% in three years.
