Punjabs Revival: CM Manns Bold Vision for a Debt-Free Future

Patiala, March 11: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday outlined his vision for a debt-free, progressive, and prosperous Punjab. Addressing a gathering at the Sarkar Vyapaar Milni government trade meet in Patiala, Mann acknowledged the state's inherited debt burden due to the misdeeds of previous governments. However, he pledged that his government would make every effort to bail out the state from this crisis.

Traders' Involvement in Decision-Making

Mann emphasized the unprecedented involvement of traders in the state's decision-making processes. He highlighted the construction of new schools and hospitals, the provision of free power to 90% of households, and the creation of over 43,000 government jobs as tangible achievements of his government.

State Budget as a Roadmap for Progress

Referring to the state budget presented on March 5 in the state assembly, Mann described it as a roadmap for a progressive and vibrant Punjab. He expressed gratitude to the people of the state for ousting political parties that engaged in a "musical chairs of power" to loot them every five years.

Opposition's Criticism and Kejriwal's Influence

Mann urged the opposition to refrain from criticizing for the sake of criticism and allow his government to work for the well-being of Punjab. He credited party leader Arvind Kejriwal for transforming politics and bringing the common man to the forefront of political agendas. Mann emphasized the shift from "Sankalp Pattars" or election manifestos to guarantees for the welfare of the people.

Manifesto as a Legal Document

The Chief Minister reiterated his long-held belief in making party manifestos legally binding documents to prevent political parties from deceiving the common man. He expressed pride in his humble origins, which he believes sets him apart from traditional politicians.

Bhagwant Mann's address at the Sarkar Vyapaar Milni government trade meet reflects his commitment to transforming Punjab into a debt-free, progressive, and prosperous state. By involving traders in decision-making, investing in infrastructure, and prioritizing the welfare of the common man, Mann aims to break away from the legacy of political opportunism and establish a new era of accountable governance in Punjab.
