By alerting its customers through the Twitter handle, the bank has declared that "Important Announcement, take note. Dear e-OBC and e-UNI, old cheque books of eOBC and eUNI will be discontinued shortly by the bank."

PNB has alerted customers to obtain a new cheque book from their local branch, or they can also apply for a fresh cheque book using ATM/IBS/PNB One. Customers should replace any post-dated cheques (if any) with new cheques in their eOBC/eUNI account, according to PNB.
