Allu Arjun, the Telugu superstar, has been released after an overnight stay in Hyderabad Central Jail. A mass of reporters along with heavy security personnel and Arjun's wife and two children were present outside the jail to receive him. Talking to the reporters, Arjun said he is a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate. He once again expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased, and said, it was an unfortunate incident while reiterating to support them in every way possible. Despite the latest setback for Arjun, his movie Pushpa 2: The Rule continued to dominate the box office.

Pushpa: The Rule - Part 2 performed well on its first 9 days at the box office and earned an estimated Rs 762.1 crore India net, as per the report of Sacnilk. As of now, Pushpa: The Rule - Part 2 earned around 4.83 crore India net on its tenth day for all languages, it added.
Worldwide, the film has crossed Rs 1,150 crore box office collection mark. Despite Arjun's arrest conundrum, Pushpa 2 continued to be unfazed in hitting new milestones. In the first week itself, the movie bagged Rs 1,067 crore, making it the first movie to cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark in a week in Indian cinema history.
Pushpa 2 also made the fastest Rs 200 crore mark in a single day, which was a gross collection of Rs 280 crore worldwide during its opening day. Further, it became the fastest to achieve Rs 400 crore mark in 2 days, and Rs 500 crore club in 3 days.

On its opening day, Pushpa: The Rise netted Rs 44 crore in India with a gross of around Rs 53 crore, and set a post-pandemic record for day one. Including the premieres, the film grossed $850,000 in the United States and obtained a worldwide gross of ₹74 crore on its first day.[154] Pushpa grossed over Rs 161 crore worldwide in its opening weekend. It netted over Rs 107.5 crore in three days, making it the first Rs 100 crore weekend in India post-COVID-19 pandemic. Overall, it is the 13th film and fourth South Indian film to achieve this feat. Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, it is a sequel to Pusha: The Rise, which was released in 2021. With a similar storyline that revolves around the smuggling of Red Sandalwood, Pushpa, is played by Allu Arjun. The South Indian megastar is paired with Rashmika Mandanna, who is playing the role of his wife Srivalli. Pushpa's setback in the movie would be IPS officer SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, played by Fahadh Faasil. After being humiliated by Pushpa in the first movie, Shekhawat vowed to take revenge and destroy Pushpa.
This is the second movie series of Sukumar and Allu Arjun pair. Together they have also worked on Arya and Arya 2, which was also loved by audiences.
Allu Arjun's Reaction After Jail:
While speaking to the reporters, Arjun thanked everyone for their love and support. He expressed his gratitude towards his fans. He told them, "There is nothing to worry about. I am fine. I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate."
Arjun told the media it was an unfortunate incident. He explained they had gone to watch a movie, and due to an unfortunate accident, there's been a loss of a person. He said, "We are always very sorry for what happened. It was purely out of my control."
Further, the Telugu superstar revealed that he has been visiting Sandhya theatre for the last 20 years to watch movies. Not only that, but he would also visit the theatre to watch his uncle's films. He said, he has been to the theatre more than 30 times in his life and never something like this happened. He added, "It was purely unfortunate."
He also emphasized that he will be there for the family to support them in whatever way he can. He added that the loss of a person can never be covered, but in whatever way possible, he will be there for the family.
As per reports, on December 5, Arjun visited during the premiere of his movie Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre on RTC Cross Road in Hyderabad. That day was Wednesday and at around 9.40 pm, a large number of fans flooded the theatre. The news report of the stampede broke during the occurrence of the event. During the stampede, a 39-year-old woman Revathi and her son Sri Tej were critically injured. As per the reports, police personnel pulled them out of the crowd and performed CPR, further rushing them to the hospital. Revathi was declared dead and her reportedly 13-year-old son is still in critical condition.
Allu Arjun has received interim bail reportedly for four weeks. He came out of jail after furnishing a Rs 50,000 bail bond.
