Prominent Buyers and Sellers Involved
The sellers in this transaction were Plenty Private Equity Fund I, Plenty Private Equity FII I, Plenty CI Fund I, Plenty CI FII I, and Multiples Private Equity Fund II LLP. These entities sold a total of 22,87,493 shares, representing a 2.33% stake in PVR Inox. The buyers, on the other hand, included notable entities such as Nippon India Mutual Fund MF, HDFC MF, Kotak Mahindra MF, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Canada's Public Sector Pension Investment Board, Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore, Societe Generale, Monetary Authority of Singapore, and IMF, among others.
Transaction Details and Share Price Movement
The shares of PVR Inox were sold at an average price of Rs 1,753 per share, resulting in a transaction value of Rs 400.99 crore. It's worth noting that PVR Inox shares experienced a slight gain of 0.29% on the NSE, settling at Rs 1,775.05 per share.
Previous Share Sale by Plenty Private Equity FII I
In September 2021, Plenty Private Equity FII I, along with two other entities, had previously sold shares of PVR for Rs 759.14 crore through open market transactions.
Swan Energy Shares Traded in Separate Block Deal
In a separate block deal that took place on the NSE, Albula Investment Fund and Kasturi Vintrade sold a combined 14 lakh shares of Swan Energy for Rs 71 crore. Albula Investment Fund offloaded 12 lakh shares, while Kasturi Vintrade Pvt Ltd sold 2 lakh shares. The shares were traded within a price range of Rs 503.25-508.50, bringing the deal value to Rs 71.08 crore. Notably, Arial Holdings 1 and Samco Mutual Fund acquired these shares at the same price.
Swan Energy Share Price Performance
On the day of the transaction, Swan Energy shares witnessed a rise of 1.70%, closing at Rs 509.85 per share on the NSE.
