Q1 Results: RIL Announces Rs 9 Per Share Dividend, PAT At Rs 16,010 Crore

Reliance Industries on Friday declared a decline of 11% in its consolidated net profit year-on-year (YoY) for the quarter ended June 2023 to Rs 16, 011 crore. Consolidated revenue of RIL witnessed a fall of 5.3% YoY to Rs 2.11 lakh crore.

Board of Reliance Industries Ltd on July 21 declared dividend of Rs 9/- per fully paid equity share of Rs 10 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2023.

RIL's operating profit, calculated as earnings, before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA), soared 5% YoY to Rs 41,982 crore. Its consolidated capital expenditure for the quarter declared Rs 39,645 crore, lesser than Rs 44,413 crore spent in March quarter. Meanwhile, outstanding debt as of June 30 declared at Rs 3.19 lakh crore as against Rs 3.14 lakh crore a quarter ago.

RIL Dividend: According to the regulatory filing of the company dated July 21, 2023, "The Board of Directors has recommended dividend oft 9/- per fully paid up equity share oft 10/- each for the financial year ended March 31, 2023. This payment of dividend is subject to approval of members of the Company at ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company."
