Q4 Results: Pharma Co Declares Rs 4/Share Dividend, Net Profit At Rs 1984 Cr

Large cap pharma company, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries on Friday announced a consolidated net profit at Rs 1984.47 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2023 against a loss of nearly 2277.25 crore reported in the same quarter last year. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Declares Dividend: According to the BSE filing of the company, "Final dividend of Rs. 4.00/- (Rupees Four only) per equity share of Re. l/- (Rupee One only) each of the Company is recommended subject to approval of the shareholders at the ensuing 31st Annual General Meeting and which shall be paid within the timelines as required under the Companies Act, 2013."

Sun Pharmaceutical Q4: The company reported its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter under consideration was at Rs 2,802.10 crore, up 19.7%. EBITDA margin for Q4 was declared at 25.6% as compared to 24.8% in the corresponding quarter an year ago.

Its net profit for FY23 declared at Rs 8,474 crore against Rs 3,273 crore declared in FY22, up 160% YoY. Meanwhile, the gross sales surged 12.6% YoY to Rs 43,278.9 crore in FY23, as per the BSE filing.
