The deal also includes the Royals' associated teams, Paarl Royals in South Africa and Barbados Royals in the Caribbean - indicating a broader global portfolio.

Rajasthan Royals' Stake Distribution and Ownership Structure

Following the completion of the transaction, expected in the third quarter of 2026, the Mittal Family will hold a 75% stake in the franchise, making them the primary owners. Adar Poonawalla will own around 18%, while the remaining 7% stake will continue to be held by existing investors, including Manoj Badale.

The deal is subject to regulatory approvals from bodies such as the Board of Control for Cricket in India, the Competition Commission of India, and the IPL Governing Council. Completion is expected in Q3 2026 once these approvals and other standard conditions are fulfilled.
