Gold rates in India extended their rally on Wednesday, August 12, with both 24 Karat (24K) and 22 Karat (22K) gold rates rising further. The 24K gold rate climbed Rs 104 per gram to Rs 15,486, while the 22K rate increased Rs 95 to Rs 14,195 per gram, according to the latest India-wide rates. The sharp back-to-back gains have pushed 24 Karat gold up by Rs 28,900 per 100 grams in just two days.

On August 11, 24K gold had already jumped Rs 185 per gram to Rs 15,382, while 22K gold rose Rs 170 to Rs 14,100 per gram. The latest move has kept gold prices at elevated levels as investors track developments in global bullion markets and expectations around US monetary policy.

Meanwhile, silver prices in India remained unchanged on Wednesday at Rs 255 per gram, or Rs 2,55,000 per kilogram.

In the international market, spot gold rose nearly 1% on Wednesday, supported by reduced expectations of a Federal Reserve rate hike next month, while investors awaited key US inflation data. The upcoming data could influence expectations around the Fed's monetary policy and provide the next major direction for global gold prices.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

The price of 24K gold in India rose by Rs 104 per gram to Rs 15,486 on Wednesday, August 12. For 8 grams, the rate stood at Rs 1,23,888, up Rs 832, while 10 grams was priced at Rs 1,54,860, an increase of Rs 1,040. For 100 grams, 24K gold was priced at Rs 15,48,600, up Rs 10,400 from the previous session.

22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

The price of 22K gold increased by Rs 95 per gram to Rs 14,195. The rate for 8 grams stood at Rs 1,13,560, up Rs 760, while 10 grams was priced at Rs 1,41,950, an increase of Rs 950. For 100 grams, the 22K gold price rose Rs 9,500 to Rs 14,19,500.

18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

The price of 18K gold climbed by Rs 77 per gram to Rs 11,614. For 8 grams, the rate increased Rs 616 to Rs 92,912, while 10 grams was priced at Rs 1,16,140, up Rs 770. The price of 100 grams of 18K gold stood at Rs 11,61,400, reflecting a rise of Rs 7,700.

Silver Rate Today, August 12, 2026: Check Latest Silver Prices Per Kg and Gram on Wednesday

Silver prices in Delhi remained unchanged on Wednesday, August 12, with the precious metal trading at Rs 255 per gram, the same as the previous day. Accordingly, 8 grams of silver was priced at Rs 2,040, 10 grams at Rs 2,550, 100 grams at Rs 25,500, and 1 kilogram at Rs 2,55,000, with no change across all quantities compared with the previous session.
