Ram Mandir Ceremony On January 22: Thousands Of Crores Worth Projects To Embellish Common Man In Ayodhya

Decades of wait are finally at the cusp of ending as devotees and Indian citizens await the ceremony of Ram Mandir in the city of Ayodhya which is situated on the banks of the Sarayu river of Uttar Pradesh. While on January 22nd, the streets of Ayodhya will be brightened for an occasion of a lifetime, it is the growth prospects after the ceremony that is expected to embellish even the common man in the city. The temple of Shri Ram comes with thousands of crores of projects that will only better the livelihood of citizens in the city.

Ram Temple will be inaugurated on January 22nd and will be open for Indian residents and tourists across the world to visit from January 23rd onward.

Ahead of the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone for multiple projects which are to the tune of more than Rs 15,700 crore. From infra, and railways to tourism, these projects will drive the city's economy and its people.

As per the official statement, the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than Rs 15,700 crore has been laid at Ayodhya Dham. These include projects worth about Rs 11,100 crore for the development of Ayodhya and its surrounding areas and projects worth about Rs 4600 crore related to other projects across Uttar Pradesh.

Further, the PM has inaugurated the redeveloped Ayodhya Railway Station and flagged off new Amrit Bharat trains and Vande Bharat trains. He also dedicated several other railway projects to the nation. After that, he also inaugurated the newly built Ayodhya Airport. The airport has been named Maharishi Valmiki International Airport.

Elaborating on the essence of ancient and modern, Modi on December 30th mentioned that the grand temple of Ram Lala will be equipped with pucca houses for 4 crore poor citizens; renovation of places of faith with strides in Digital India; Kashi Vishwanath Dham with more than 30,000 panchayat Bhawan; revamping of Kedar Dham with more than 315 medical colleges; Mahakaal Mahalok with Har Ghar Jal; achievements in space and ocean with bringing back heritage artefacts from abroad.

Not only Awadh region, but Modi had said that Ayodya will give new direction to the development of the entire Uttar Pradesh", said PM Modi. He pointed out the projected increase of pilgrims and tourists coming to the holy city in the wake of the grand temple and said that infrastructure is being revamped to meet the demand.

Modi has vowed while assuring the people of Ayodhya that his government will leave no stone unturned in the development of this holy place.

Earlier, as per the Ayodhya Development Authority was eyeing about 7,000 guests during the inauguration day of Ram Mandir. CAIT has estimated business aggregating to Rs 50,000 crore to be generated following the Ram temple inauguration.

After the ceremony day, the Ayodhya authority expects between 3 lakh to 5 lakh visitors every day for at least a month at Ram Mandir. Upon completion of the second phase, the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport will accommodate 60 lakh passengers every year. Currently, the Ayodhya Dham Railway Station serves 10-15 thousand people daily. After the complete development of the station, the Ayodhya Dham Railway Station will be able to cater to 60,000 people every day. Not just that the authority has revealed that they have allotted 500 homes with 2,500 rooms for homestays which means that tourists will get to stay in the same house as owners.

The Main Temple of Ram Mandir has a total area of 2.7 acres, with a length being 360 feet and a width of 235 feet. The total height of the temple including the peak is 161 feet. There will be three floors to the Ram temple, with the ground and first floor holding 160 columns and 132 columns respectively, and the second floor has 74 columns. There are 5 pedks and pavilions and 12 gates in the temple.

Overall, the temple is still under construction and supervised by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The state-of-the-art of the temple will be inaugurated on January 22.
