RBI Oks Reappointment Of Anand As Deputy MD For Further 3 Years

Private sector lender Axis Bank said on Friday (June 24) that the apex bank has given a nod to the
reappointment of Rajiv Anand in the position of the deputy managing director for further tenure of three years.

"... re-appointment of Rajiv Anand as the Deputy Managing Director of the Bank, for a further period of three years, from August 4, 2022 to August 3, 2025 (both days inclusive) ... In this regard, we wish to inform you that the RBI vide its letter dated June 24, 2022, has approved the above re-appointment," Axis Bank said.

A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Anand joined the bank in 2013 in the lender's asset management subsidiary Axis Asset Management as the MD and CEO.

Axis Bank shares last closed at a price of Rs. 634 per share on the NSE.
