RCB IPL 2025 Victory Parade: Bengaluru Traffic Advisory, Avoid CBD Road; Check Full List Of Restricted Roads

The victory celebration of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the heart of the city is in chaos. As per the latest reports, a stampede-like situation has emerged at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, with some feared to be dead while many are reported to be injured. The weather is also another hindrance to the bus parade, as light to moderate with gusty winds prediction is on Bengaluru.

The victory parade of RCB began at 5 PM and Bengaluru traffic had already issued warnings of restricted roads and parking places to avoid commotion.

RCB IPL Victory Parade:

Through their X handler, RCB revealed that the victory parade will be followed by celebrations at the Chinnaswamy stadium. RCB said, "We request all fans to follow guidelines set by police and other authorities so that everyone can enjoy the roadshow peacefully."

RCB won its IPL after over 17 years of the seasons. It is their first victory.

IPL 2025 website said, in a game that was most fitting for a final, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) managed to keep their nerves to beat Punjab Kings (PBKS) by six runs. With both teams in Red fighting for their maiden title, there was always going to be joy on one side and heartbreak on the other.

In the end, it was RCB who managed to keep their nerves and end their long wait of 18 years to get their hands on the trophy. PBKS, on the other hand, will need to wait for another year to try and break the jinx. They will take heart from the fact that they played some of the best cricket they have ever played as a team this season. But they will also need to admit that they lost to the better team, who defeated them twice in one week en route to winning the title, it said.

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory:

The Bengaluru advisory said that the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) is hosting a special felicitation program to honour the outstanding achievement and performance of RCB.

The advisory added that entry to this program is allowed only to those who have entry tickets and passes.

"Due to limited parking, public are advised to use metro and other public transport," adding the advisory said, "Public advised to avoid CBD area for their commute from 3PM to 9 PM."

It further said, parking of all types of vehicles is prohibited in and around the areas surrounding Chinnaswamy stadium.

RCB IPL 2025 Victory Parade Stampede:

As per the latest reports, there has likely a stampede-like situations occurred at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru, fearing some deaths and injuries. The fans are in frenzy for the event. There is no confirmation from the authority as of now, and hence, GoodReturns could not confirm the same.

Reports are also saying that while confirmation regarding the stampede and safety of people in Bengaluru awaited, it is said that RCB players have arrived the stadium and are flashing the golden IPL trophy.

The weather turned rainy at Chinnaswamy stadium before the commencement of the parade. However, the weather seemed to be calm. At present, the weather is mostly cloudy with 27 degree celsuis at Chinnaswamy stadium, MG Road and Cubbon road.

On June 4th, IMD MET has predicted light to moderate rain/Thundershowers with gusty wind (30-40 kmph) likely to occur at a few places over Ballari, Chitradurga, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Bengaluru (Rural), Bengaluru (Urban), Chikkaballapura, Hassan, Chamarajanagar, Mysuru, Mandya, Ramanagara, Kolar, Tumakuru, Kodagu, Davanagere and Vijayanagara districts.
