Reliance AGM: Jio 5G Will Be World's Largest & Most-Advanced 5G Network

According to Mukesh Ambani, Jio 5G will be the most advanced and largest 5G network in the world. Reliance will roll out 5G which is completely independent of the 4G network.

Jio has completed 5G coverage planning in the top 1,000 cities and conducted field trials of its home-grown 5G telecom gears. Jio has committed a total investment of Rs 2 lakh crore to roll out 5G services.

Mukesh Ambani at the RIL RGM said, "For pan-India 5G network, we've committed Rs 2 lakh crore investment. Reliance Jio has prepared the world's fastest 5G rollout plan. By Diwali, we will launch Jio 5G across multiple key cities. By December 2023, we will deliver 5G to every town of India."

Jio made significant preparations for 5G in 2021-2022, using only 100% homegrown technology. A record-breaking Rs 1.5 lakh crore was spent during India's largest-ever telecom spectrum auction, which ended on August 1.
