Reliance Was India's Highest Taxpayer Last Fiscal Year With Rs 1,88,012 Cr, Said Mukesh Ambani

On Monday, August 29, at 2 PM, the Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Ltd. Annual General Meeting (AGM) got underway. Video conferencing and other audio-visual tools were used to hold RIL's 45th AGM since its IPO.

Mukesh Ambani at the RIL AGM has said, Reliance was the largest taxpayer in India last financial year, contributing Rs 1,88,012 crore.

Furthermore, Mr Ambani said, Reliance Jio 's high-quality, redundant and always-available fibre-optic network is the backbone of data traffic from India's every corner. Jio's pan-India fibre-optic network is over 11 lakh km in length - enough to go around Planet Earth 27 times.
