RIL’s Fight Against The Pandemic Through 5 Missions

Even before running through the company's financial, the conglomerate has taken pride in its humanitarian contribution in distressed times amid the pandemic.

The company's Covid mission was put forth by Isha, Akash and Nita. Isha Ambani goes on to address that the company's employees have been facing the pandemic from the frontline.

Both Isha and Akash Ambani went on to define specific stories of their employees who have played their part and placed their country first. Akash Ambani said the company's employees signify the company's DNA.

Chairperson of Reliance Foundation- Nita Ambani said the company has tried to make a difference in the lives of 45 million people of India. The company's education supporting venture also turned into digital platforms and safe havens for students to continue with their learning.

Jio Institute is all set to begin its academic year from Navi Mumbai this year.

Also, Nita Ambani highlighted all of the company's endeavours in the sport segment.

Furthermore, on women empowerment she went on to address that every girl in the country should write her own destiny.

5-Missions amid the pandemic:

1.Mission Oxygen- 1100 metric tonne production by the company's Jamnagar facility. Over 11% medical grade Oxygen is being now produced, largest by any entity in the country. The company also procured tankers from countries such as Singapore etc. Also, oxygen generators were installed by the company's workforce.

2. Mission Covid Infra:

Covid testing lab- With a capacity to conduct 15,000 test per day.

3. Mission Anna Seva:

In the initial days of the lockdown, the company started off with the free meal which was extended to stray animals.

4 Mission Employee care-

The company will continue to pay salary for 5 years to all Covid deceased employees' families. Plus would also support childrens' education up till graduation in India.

5. Mission Vaccine Suraksha:

To help speed up the vaccination drive, the company has set up faclities in as many as 109 cities. Reliance Foundation is also looking to partner with local authorities to increase vaccination drive.

Throughout the Pandemic, RIL has stood up to the occasion and helped all in need.
