Rupee Continues To Gain On Dollar Weakness; Opens At 74.58 Per US Dollar
Rupee in Wednesday's trade (July 22, 2020) opens at 74.58 versus previous close of 74.74 per US dollar. The dollar index falls to over 4-month low. In the previous session, rupee ended at a two-week high on the back of coronavirus vaccine hopes as well as resilient Indian equities.
Bond yield in today's trade stood at 5.833%.

Oil prices in today's trade declined again on demand outlook due to resurging corona cases and stock pile. Brent crude fell 32 cents, or 0.7%, to $44 a barrel by 0156 GMT, and U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude dropped 33 cents, or 0.8%, to $41.59.

Meanwhile Indian indices opened flat in line with Asian markets after Trump says worst in respect of corona cases is yet to come.
