In share market, nearly all sectors appeared in green as Nifty Metal and Nifty PSU Bank indices surged higher in the range of 2% to 3% in morning trade.

Earlier on Monday, Rupee declined by 49 paise to close at 81.89 (provisional) against the US dollar amid heavy selling pressure in the domestic equities and a rise in crude oil prices weighed on the local unit.

In yesterday's trade, a stronger greenback against key rivals and persistent foreign fund outflows exerted pressure on the domestic currency, as per forex dealers' report.
