Rupee Opens Flat Against US Dollar, Sensex Rises Over 200 Points In Early Trade
The rupee opened flat in early trade on Wednesday against US Dollar. Meanwhile, BSE Sensex gained 220 points at 57367 and NSE Nifty surged 142 points at 17042 in opening trade on October 12, 2022.

The rupee opened 82.27 (up 0.06%) and currently trading at 82.33 against the US Dollar. According to experts, rupee is likely to trade in narrow range.
Earlier on Tuesday, the rupee consolidated in a narrow range and settled 5 paise higher at 82.35 (provisional) against the US dollar.
On October 11, 2022 at the interbank forex market, the local unit opened at 82.35 against the greenback. It registered an intra-day high of 82.32 and a low of 82.41 during the session.
