Rupee Opens Higher At 71.82

Rupee in Tuesday's session opened higher at 71.82 versus previous close of 72.03

Gold in India spurted heavily in Monday's trade by as much as Rs. 900 due to risk off sentiment as investors preferred safe haven.

Meanwhile, Indian equities tracking global sell-off may open lower after shedding 800 points in Monday's trade. Nonetheless, trend on the SGX Nifty suggest gap up opening for the benchmark indices.
