Rupee Opens Lower At 73.37 Per Dollar
Indian rupee on Thursday opened lower by 17 paise at 73.37 versus previous close of 73.20
In the previous session, rupee even breached levels of 73.5 per dollar.
In the bond market, the yield on 10-year benchmark bond stood at 6.24%.
Oil climbed higher by 1% as there was a limited rise in crude oil than expected.
Meanwhile, benchmark indices opened on a strong note taking cues from global markets, with Sensex surging over 200 points in early trade while Nifty topped 11325 points.
