Rupee Opens Tad Higher At 75.52 Per US Dollar

Rupee on Tuesday (June 9, 2020) opened tad higher at 75.52 versus its previous close of 75.54 per US dollar.

 

In the bond market, the yield on 10-year government bond opened at 5.787%. Also, traders will keep an eye over sale of government debt worth Rs. 16000 crore.

Oil prices on Tuesday climbed higher inching close to $39 per barrel as a decline in US crude stockpile was offset by the decision of Saudi Arabia to stop cuts in extra voluntary production by June end.

Meanwhile, Indian benchmark indices tracking strength in the US Nasdaq which rose to a record high in Monday's session with gains of 1% on both the headline indices, with Nifty over 10200 points.
