Rupee Opens Weak At 76.29 Per US dollar

In trade on Friday (April 24, 2020), rupee opened lower at 76.29 per US dollar. Rupee in Thursday's trade ended strong 76.07 per share .
In the bond market, the yield on 10-year benchmark bond opened at 6.09%versus previous close of 6.05%.
Oil in today's trade has rebounded to more than $16 a barrel.

Meanwhiile, in the US record unemployment claims have shed all the gains in employment post great depression.
Also, on the back of the failure of the Gilead Sciences' experimental drug to treat coronavirus fuelled sell off in equities across the world.
