Rupee Opens Lower At 75.33/US Dollar

Rupee in Tuesday's trade (July 14, 2020) opens lower at 75.16 in comparison to previous close of 75.19 per levels. This is even as dollar has softened further from previous lows.

Oil today decline further as there are jitters over supply tapering by the OPEC + on one hand, and mounting US-China tensions on the other. Crude futures of the US fell to levels of $39 per barrel.

Rupee Opens Lower At 75.33/US Dollar

The yield on 10-year government bond stood at 5.86%.

\Meanwhile, as corona cases continue to weigh, Indian markets slipped in trade today, with Nifty at 10700 while Sensex was trading over 36400 points.
