Rupee Trades Higher At 71.42 Per US Dollar

Rupee in Friday's trade opened a tad higher at 71.44 versus previous close of 71.49. The domestic currency was last quoting at 71.42 at 9:18 am.

On Thursday, rupee ended lower tracking losses in other Asian peers as well as on concerns of spreading Corona virus.

Rupee Trades Higher At 71.42 Per US Dollar

Oil saw respite from continuing decline on WHO comments which reiterated that trade and travel were not being restricted primarily owing to spread of Corona virus.

Indian markets on gains in global counterparts pared losses with Sensex trading up by 0.40%.
