Salman Khan New House: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence is attracting heightened interest from netizens as the Dabangg star is reportedly leaving Galaxy Apartments and moving to a six-storey building. While several media reports suggest that Salman Khan and his family will likely shift to another house, there is no official confirmation of this.

As per an ET Now report, the Khan Family has received approval for a new six-storey residential building in Bandra. The proposed project has sparked speculation about whether the actor will move out of his well-known home or the project is just another real estate investment.

The six-storey building is reportedly located in Bandra's Chimbai area close to Galaxy Apartments. The land is registered in the name of Salman Khan's mother, Salma Khan. The earlier two-storey structure on the plot was demolished after being declared unsafe, clearing the way for a fresh residential development.

The Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority has approved the proposal for the new residential building. As per the ET now report, the plan includes a ground floor, stilt parking and six upper floors. The total built-up area is expected to be around 1,014 square metres, with Sach Developers attached to the project.

The proposal had earlier received the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's Intimation of Disapproval in October 2025 due to issues related to environmental conditions. The new plan also includes planting additional native trees around the property, a common requirement for construction in sensitive coastal zones.

For fans, the immediate question is whether the development marks the end of Salman's decades-long stay at Galaxy Apartments. At present, that remains unconfirmed. The new property may offer more privacy and better security, but Galaxy Apartments continues to be described as the actor's primary residence.

Security has become an important part of the conversation around Salman's homes. After the firing incident outside Galaxy Apartments in 2024, the actor was provided Y+ security. A newer residence, especially one planned with modern access control and parking arrangements, could offer practical advantages for the family.

Unlike other actors who live in large Bungalows, Salman Khan's residence in Galaxy Apartment is more about comfort, simplicity and elegance. Salman has continued living in a relatively modest apartment. He reportedly occupies a one-bedroom home on the ground floor, while his parents live on the floor above.
