Samsung Innovation Campus awards Rs 1 lakh to 30 top students for AI and IoT projects
Samsung India honoured 30 top-performing students from 10 states with awards of Rs 1 lakh each under the Samsung Innovation Campus programme. The initiative trained about 20,000 young people in artificial intelligence, coding, data and internet of things (IoT). Winners included national and state toppers recognised at the company’s Gurugram headquarters.

The company said the programme trained about 20,000 young people in artificial intelligence, coding and internet of things (IoT). Samsung added that the awardees came from 10 states and were recognised for strong performance and project work.

Samsung said the group included four national toppers, 26 state-level toppers and a social media champion. The company stated that the students were felicitated at Samsung India’s headquarters in Gurugram on Tuesday. Samsung also said the mix of winners showed strong technology interest among learners across different parts of India.

The company said the winners formed a diverse set of students from across the country. Samsung stated that the results pointed to rising technology talent outside large metropolitan centres. The programme, Samsung said, focuses on training that matches industry needs in newer technology areas and related digital skills.
Samsung Southwest Asia President and CEO J B Park said the rapid adoption of AI and digital technologies had made skills in coding, data and emerging technologies increasingly important for young professionals.
Samsung Innovation Campus programme projects highlight AI and IoT learning
Samsung said some awardees applied training to practical problems through project development. Karnataka-based Aishwarya Sanjay created an AI-driven model to help farmers reach markets. Samsung said the work focused on community-supported agriculture. The company also highlighted project efforts that linked technical learning with local needs.
Uttar Pradesh’s Shivam Singh worked on IoT, automation and cybersecurity projects, Samsung said. The company added that this work helped Shivam Singh secure an internship with the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology. Samsung said the institute operates under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
Samsung said Dev Uppal from Delhi and Vanshika Raghav from Haryana linked the programme to stronger real-world problem solving. Samsung added that both students credited the training for connecting classroom concepts with practical tasks. The company said they also reported gains in confidence, analytical thinking and technical capability.
Samsung Innovation Campus programme aligned with Skill India and Digital India
Samsung said the Samsung Innovation Campus programme aims to provide industry-relevant training in future technologies. The company added that the programme aligns with the government’s Skill India and Digital India initiatives. Samsung said the awards marked student outcomes from the broader training effort delivered to around 20,000 youth.
