SBI customers can lose all their money if they happen to open a fraud message with suspicious link to update their KYC.

As per reports it is suggested that people from China (hackers) are sending fraudulent messages saying 'update your KYC' and that comes along with the malicious link. And if you click on it, you shall lose all your money.

The message comes with the suspicious link and the National Capital headquartered CyberPeace Foundation as well as Autobot Infosec have traced the cyber crime i.e. being conducted to cheat customers of SBI.

Now with respect to how this fraud is being given effect is that if the customer happens to click on the link then he or she is directed to provide confidential information such as user ID, password as well as Captcha. "Following this, it asks for an OTP sent to the user's mobile number. As soon as the OTP is entered, it redirects the user to another page that asks the users to enter some confidential information again like account holder name, mobile number, date of birth. After entering the data, it redirects the user to an OTP page," the cyber experts told a leading publication.

They are also offering to pay gifts of Rs. 50 lakh and in both the messages the thing that is common is the presence of the fraud link that may rob customers of their SBI deposits.
