SBI Launches A Dedicated Counter Across Its 360 Select Branches Nationally

On the occasion of SBI's 66th Foundation Day, the country's largest lender said on Thursday that it has inaugurated a dedicated counter for Current Account customers throughout its 360 key branches across the country. According to India's largest bank, the dedicated counter, dubbed Current Account Service Point (CASP), would meet the important needs of core Current Account customers as well as mobilise new customers. On the occasion of SBI's 66th Foundation Day, Challa Sreenivasulu Setty, Managing Director (Retail & Digital Banking), introduced it.

By launching it, the lender has said in a statement that "The initiative will also enable the customers in digitizing their processes and provide simplified technical solutions as per their requirements. CASP will be staffed by trained and dedicated Relationship Managers across all the centres." SBI employees contributed Rs 62.62 crore to the PM CARES Fund as part of the bank's foundation day to help the country's continuing struggle with COVID-19. SBI has alleged via its Twitter account that "On the occasion of #StateBankDay, it gives us great pleasure to announce that our 2.5 lakh employees have come together and contributed Rs. 62.62 crore to help the country fight #COVID19."

On the occasion of State Bank Day, the country's largest lender yesterday has also informed its customers via its Twitter handle that "Today, on #StateBankDay, we celebrate the incredible journey undertaken so far. Proud to move together with our nation in its march towards progress. We are happy to serve you with the latest digital banking products and services."
