The new revised cut-off timings are as follows:
In case of subscription:
For liquid and overnight funds- 12:30 pm
For schemes other than liquid and overnight funds 1pm
For Redemption
For liquid and overnight funds 1pm
For other than liquid and overnight funds 1pm
In accordance with the communication from the AMFI, the new cut off timings will apply from April 7 to 17, 2020.
Earlier, the cutoff time for liquid and overnight funds was 1:30 PM while for other fund including bonds, equity, and hybrid funds, it was at 3 PM.
Further as due to 3-week nationwide lockdown, AMCs and RTAs are not operational, potential mutual fund investors are advised to take online route either via websites or mobile apps.
Cut off time is a significant parameter for liquid and overnight funds' investors. For long term investors in equity funds, the impact due to change in cut-off timing shall be least.
