Sensex Falls Over 450 Points In Early Morning Trade, HDFC AMC Rallies 6%
After maintaining the upward rally for the last few days, the 30-share BSE index witnessed a decline of 494 points or 0.77% to 62,889.61. on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 amid weak global cues. NSE Nifty declined 79 points or 0.42% in early trade to 18,677.40.
Despite decline in share markets, HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd shares gained 6.00% in early morning trade to 2005.95 apiece. Shares of HDFC Life, SBI Life Insurance, Power Grid Corp rallied nearly 1% in early morning trade on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Asia-Pacific markets mostly declined on Monday. Japan's markets have been soaring near 33-year highs. The Nikkei 225 posted weekly gains for the last 10 weeks, but slipped 1% on Monday to close at 33,370.42 along with the Topix, which fell 0.43% and ended at 2,290.5, according to a CNBC report.
South Korea's Kospi witnessed a decline of 0.62% to end at 2,609.5. Meanwhile, the Kosdaq surged marginally to end at 888.61.
In China, Shanghai Composite fell 0.54%, ending the day at 3,255.8 and the Shenzhen Component declined 0.28%, ending at 11,274.05.
Earlier, After hitting its lifetime high on Friday, the 30-share BSE index declined 216.28 points or 0.34% to settle at 63,168.30. During the day, it declined 336.75 points or 0.53% to 63,047.83.
