Sensex, Nifty Close At New Highs; Nifty PSU Bank Gains 2%
Indian indices closed at another record high buoyed by positive global cues. Sensex closed 344 points higher at 45424 while Nifty ended with gains of 96 points at 13354 on the first day of trade to December 11, 2020. Stocks contributing to the maximum gains on the indices are HDFC, ICICI Bank and HUL.

PSU Bank also rallied a great deal in trade today with gains of more than 2 percent, with maximum gains from SBI, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, Central Bank. DCB has cut lending rates with effect from December 8, 2020.One-year MCLR at the lender is now 9.67 percent.
Meanwhile, European indices traded lower at the time of writing this report, while US stock futures point to a weak opening, with maximum loss on the S&P index. GoodReturns.in
