Sensex & Nifty Trader Lower On Weak Global Cues, Nifty Closes At 17,624.40 Points
Sensex & Nifty, Indian benchmark indexes trader lower today on weak global cues. On September 7, the Nifty 50 closed at 17,624.40, and Sensex closed at 59,028.91 points, falling marginally. Tata Consumer, Coal India, Adani Ports, Axis Bank, Wipro, SBI Life, Britannia, TCS, Cipla, HDFC Life, BPCL, and Ultratech Cement were some of the top gainers today. However, HDFC, ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, NTPC, Reliance M&M, and Tata Steel were some of the top losers today on NSE.

Major indexes are gaining today, like Nifty energy down by 0.60%, Nifty PSU Bank down by 0.17%, while Nifty metal fell by 0.18%. On the other hand oil stocks traded higher today, the share price of ONGC up by 0.45%, BPCL up by 1.16%, and Indian Oil surged by 1.06%.
Meanwhile, in the Asian stock markets, Nikkei stood at 27,430.30 points down by 0.71%, while Kospi stood at 2,376.46 points down by 1.39%, and Hang Seng Index stood at 19,044.30 points falling by 0.83%.
